SUPRISE!!
So when they rubbed the ultrasound sensor thingy over my tummy, one technician looked at the other and said you jinxed it. She looked at the first one and said "What?!?" Apparently they had been discussing this morning what they would do if they came across......get ready for it.....TWINS!!!!!! Yes, we are having twins! We don't know the gender(s) yet, that comes in another 4-5 weeks, around week 18.

Baby B is on top, and the white kidney bean on the bottom is Baby A
We are so excited and my doctor was there and we discussed some issues and things are looking great for me and the babies! The babies have strong heartbeats (A=148 and B=156) and they are just about right on schedule with their size (about 12 wks 6 days, so just about a day off) so we are keeping the same due date, but we were told that twins aren't carried the normal 9 months, they usually come early, so we should be ready about a month or so early! Oh, and the pictures don't do justice to the experience. They had scheduled an hour for us! It was wonderful! I feel sooooo much closer to my babies, and we got to see them moving and having hiccups and turn. Baby B turned to us and we got to see the face! It is time I will always cherish and put in my memory bank!!! It was a miracle beyond belief....I am still flying high, and so is Walter! Walter was watching and got antsy and had to leave to tell his family. That was one of the first things he said, then when he was back, he piped up and said "Will we have to get another crib?" It was so sweet and cute! AHHHH! I am so happy! We are so happy!

Above is Baby A

This is Baby B (has its hand next to its face)
I have to admit, (and I know I told a few of you when it happened), but I had feelings we were having twins, and I had a dream too. I didn't put too much emphasis on it....but it was there, so when both babies showed up, I looked at Walter and was like "I told you!!!!"!!
Peach:Week 13
PS Hopefully I will have pictures later today that I will be able to post of the ultrasound! We volunteered for a study my OB is doing and we get to see the baby really early!Wednesday, February 18, 2009
Week 12: Plum
So, baby has shifted into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed.I know this is like super early, but I swear I have been feeling baby move (which would make sense after the doc said the baby's doing flips=very active). Every great once in a while, I feel a little flutter down there and I swear it's the baby!
